Appointed Workplace Health and Safety Representatives (WHSR)

 

Workplace Health and Safety Representatives Click Here For More Info (WHSR) are elected members of University staff who assist with the communication and consultation of OHS matters between staff and University management. WHSR have a number of responsibilities and generally can help you with:

  • Providing advice regarding OHS concerns.
  • Assist with investigating Hazards and Incidents.
  • Being a source of information regarding risk management and assisting with risk assessments.
  • Attend WHS Committee Meetings.
  • Work health issues, work station design and University procedures.
  • Communicating your OHS concerns and issues to management.
