This EAP program is available across all Campuses.
Many people experience issues and concerns that may, at times, affect their work performance. Some of these issues may be resolved or alleviated by professional counselling, support or advice. To preserve confidentiality, the names of staff are not included on invoices or EAP usage reports provided to the University.
Staff are encouraged to seek assistance themselves. Managers and/or others (e.g. People and Culture personnel, Union representatives) may recommend or encourage contact with the EAP provider, but the final decision rests with the staff member.
If you have any concerns about any of the issues then your EAP may be of benefit to you. Often, the longer an issue remains unattended the more your life may be affected by it. Early assistance with a minor issue may prevent it from developing into a major one.
