All information regarding payment on student accounts can be found at our Accounts Receivable page.
This outlines Australia Post, BPAY, Online and over-the counter payments, and when these are available.

All the relevant information regarding student loans can be found here.

I don't think my charges are correct, how do I check this?
If you believe that charges raised on your student account are incorrect, the first contact should be made with an email to Student Finance. If you believe the response to this is unsatisfactory, you should follow the procedure given on the Student Finance website.

I've paid my fees, but this is not showing on my student account. How do I go about investigating this?
Due to the nature of electronic transactions, fees paid (especially via Australia Post and BPay) may take 3-4 business days to appear on your account. However, if this has not occurred, and you wish to escalate this matter, please contact CQUniversity's Student Debtors.

Where can I find information about Scholarships?
The Student Support Centre oversees and awards all scholarships administered by CQUniversity Australia.

I am currently recieving a scholarship. Do I have to declare this on my tax return?
This depends on the way that the scholarship is administered. Please consult this flowchart for more information regarding taxation on scholarships (will be updated shortly).

I have received a letter from a debt collector. Can I still continue my studies?
If your account with the University is in arrears, you are still able to study the courses you are currently enrolled in, however you will not be able to enrol in any further courses, and will be unable to collect any award conferred by the University. Once the University has received the outstanding charges, full access to these services will be reinstated.

I have overpaid my student account. How do I reclaim the excess payments?
In order for your fees to be refunded, you must fill out a Refund Request Form, and return it to your Campus Administration - refer to page 2 of the Refund Request form for address details. If you wish for your fees to be paid to another person, or in an international currency (not $AUD), you must fill out the appropriate forms, which are located on the Student Forms website.

How much will my degree/program/course cost?
Student Finance will be able to answer any enquiries regarding course costs. However, currently they are only able to give costs for 2011. The costs for courses studied in 2012 will be made available by the 1st of October, 2011.

I have more questions. Where can I get further information?
To receive generic information regarding University studies, please contact the Student Contact Centre, either by email or by phoning 13 CQUni (13 2764) (Australia only). If you have specific finance-related questions, these should be directed to Student Finance.
